I just finished mastering a new record by “K.” , also know as Karla Schickele. It’s really well written and fun record. I’m not sure when its going to come out but be sure to have a listen when it does!
The new Pt. Juncture WA record is out that I mastered in February. Pick it up. It’s really one of their best records, and I believe the third record that I’ve mastered for them. The artist and violinist, Laurie Anderson has release her new record, Homeland. Its a great mix of subtle and not so subtle social commentary, electronics, and great song writing. I worked in her studio from 2006-2008 and was a studio technician for parts of the record. It was almost ten years in the making but worth the wait.
Great new records mastered for Ben Goldberg trio with Charlie Hunter. There are a bunch fantastic records coming out by early next year mastered at spleenless mastering.
The Sad Machinery of Spring (Hannibal/Rykodisc) The new Tin Hat record is released! It’s a wonderully quirky journey into the old world of hand cranked instruments, minature violins, and narative melodies, with special guest Zeena Parkins (Bjørk) on harp.
